The obverse of this 10 oz silver bar features the profile of a Native American. This profile first appeared on James Earle Fraser’s Indian Head Nickel and Buffalo Nickel. The profile represents an aggregate image of three Native American chiefs from three different tribes: Two Moons of the Cheyenne, Big Tree of the Kiowa, and Iron Tail of the Lakota Sioux. The obverse also features the inscriptions “LIBERTY”, “.999 FINE SILVER” and “TEN TROY OUNCES”.
The reverse features the 1500 pound American Bison, Black Diamond, which Fraser sketched while visiting the Central Park Zoo. Black Diamond is featured over a pattern of diagonal lines that cross at right angles. The inscription reads “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”.

Once again…Provident has hit it out of the park! I received an E-mail from Provident telling me about a “special” deal for me on these fine 10oz. bars from Silvertown. Ended up saving $7.00 on each of the 2 I bought with their “promo” code. Wish I had more fiat $ at the time to buy the limit of 5. Either way, it’s 20 more ounces of silver that stack nicely in my safe.

Received 5 of these bars today. The face and reverse side of the bars were exactly as shown and the quality was good. The edges on all 5 bars were a little rough and some were dented. If you are a collector and looking for a perfect piece, this may not be for you. However, I am buying silver for its weight as an investment and the less than perfect quality is not a concern for me. As always, the product arrived in a timely fashion and was well packaged. Oh, and the price was the cheapest I could find anywhere.

I had high hopes with this bar, looked really nice on line but is not what was received. Both bars are dented on the edges and it looks like who ever has the job to sand the edges needs to find another profession. Great price but I won’t buy these again. Provident Metals is still my #1 retailer.
