I received this bar today as part of my first order, and compared to the more expensive RCM bar of the same weight, it’s brilliant! Granted the NTR bar has a couple of dents, which displeases me, but overall the NTR bar is far better looking and lower priced to boot.

It is a very nice looking bar, new and shinny even with the matt finish. However, the machine grinding marks are pronounced from the top and bottom. I guess it give us a good idea of how the block was cut. From that view, it looks raw and industrious. Since it is one of the most reasonable priced 100 oz bar, it serves its purpose very well as a hedge or store of wealth.

In some of the photos the bars look to have a more shiny extruded look. Mine are both dull very similar to my OPM Kilo. One has scratches on the face and the other is in better shape. They are well packaged so this must occur in the factory. Either way I bought the NTRs as the buy/sell spread from Provident is the lowest of any of the large silver offerings. I’m happy with them, just wish I waited another week as they dropped a fair amount. Oh well.

This is a great looking bar if you want the matte finish, which I like. There are some grind marks below the surface on the ends, but nothing that really stands out. Compared to the Canadian mint 100oz bar, this looks much cleaner and more uniform. (I believe these bars a re cast / poured differently, so that accounts for the difference.)

This is the best bang for your buck if your buying silver to stack weight. Would have given it 5 stars but the bar did come with grind marks on the ends which seems to be typical on these bars. Aside from that, it is much cheaper than it’s competitors and worth the investment. Has a dull finish that prevents leaving finger prints when you handle it.

First 100oz bar. Heavy HEAVY Cutting tool marks ? Guess I need to weigh it.
Dull, and literally the grinding marks are sooo bad, there is silver flakes on the bottom of the bag. I didn’t expect a Lincoln Town car, but a 2×4 at home depot looks better on the shelf.

Awesome bar. Felt quite heavy. I absolutely loved the finish. Provident never disappoints me. I will be buying more of these soon. I paid via personal check and it took good 3 weeks to receive the product. With provident though I have got nothing to worry about. I don’t mind the wait either. The bars are reasonably priced and holds value of money quite well. Just the feeling of holding precious metal in your hands is not something I can justify in a few words. You need to experience it yourself. Provident got itself a lifetime customer.

These 100 ozt. bars are a great way to purchase silver in quantity. The premiums are low, and Provident metals processes and ships orders fast. All in all, a great combination for anyone investing in physical silver.

Just received my first 100oz NTR bar from Provident. It’s awesome, and that is an understatement. I will be ordering more of these beauties for sure.

Actually, most banks will make cashiers checks or money orders for free. Then there’s the liquor store that sells money orders for .50 cents, I know this is a long haul investment, but you don’t know what can happen in 3 weeks.

I say stick to the good ole’ money order/cashiers checks and have your stuff in 3 days, Provident really is fast, and I love how their shipping tiers are so easy on the wallet.

I’m only sorry and hadn’t found them sooner, I would’ve had more silver due to their awesome reasonable tier pricing and awesome shipping rates.

These bars have a very low markup, a great way to obtain silver. recommended! But, guys, really, I see 2 of the 4 reviews here talking about “speed of delivery”. One guy says he used a personal check, and regrets the 3 week delay. Another recommends “money order, it is much faster”. Seriously, what’s the rush? There’s no free lunch. Personal check gets the low “cash price”. On the other hands… Money orders cost money. Wire transfers cost money. Buying by credit card doesn’t get you the low price from Provident. All those methods are wrong, wrong, wrong. Use a personal check, get the cheap silver. You’re in this for the long haul, what difference does 3 days versus 3 weeks for delivery make? None. Use your heads.

My bars arrived in perfect condition in a discreetly labeled package. The only thing I would change for my next order is my payment method. I paid by personal check, so my order took three weeks to arrive, but that’s my fault, not Provident’s. I am very satisfied with my order.

I was really happy with this bar when I first got it That was until I ordered a sheet of 10 oz bars. When I reorder it will be more 10 oz bars. The 100 oz bar has a dull finish and no protective covering when compared to the 10 oz bars. The one thing it does come with is a lower premium.
