History

As theFor Tomorrow!arc begins, we see Superman battling grief and self-doubt after a bizarre and mysterious event called the Vanishing caused a million people to vanish from the Earth without a trace, including his wife Lois Lane. The story eventually pits the Man of Steel against multiple villainous foes as he tries to find the people lost in that strange event, and its complicated ins and outs and compelling character made the arc into a major hit with both comics collectors and critics. The cover art of Superman #204 made a natural source of inspiration for a Superman miniature.
