Obverse
The obverse side of the 1887 Morgan Dollar Coins showcases the elegant Lady Liberty. This left-profile bust, crafted in the artistic style of the 19th century, depicts Liberty adorned with a Phrygian cap, laurel wreath, and coronet crown. Inscriptions here read E PLURIBUS UNUM, LIBERTY, and 1887.

History
In 1887, the Philadelphia Mint struck an astounding 20.290 million coins in the Morgan Dollar Series, making it the second-highest mintage figure of the 1880s, surpassed only by the 1889 release of Morgans, when Philadelphia minted over 21.7 million coins.

Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed.
