Obverse
The obverse of the 1898 Morgan Dollar features Lady Liberty in left-profile relief. This design, created by George T. Morgan, shows Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, laurel wreath, and coronet crown, embodying the ideals of freedom and liberty. The inscriptions include E PLURIBUS UNUM, LIBERTY, and 1898.
Reverse
The reverse of the coin displays the heraldic eagle, designed by Morgan as well. The eagle is presented in front-facing relief, holding an olive branch and arrows, symbolizing both peace and readiness for defense. Inscriptions here include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR.
History
In 1898, the U.S. Mint produced Morgan Silver Dollars at its Philadelphia, New Orleans, and San Francisco facilities. Philadelphia led the production, minting 5.884 million coins, with additional coins struck in New Orleans and San Francisco.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
