The Peace Silver Dollar was introduced by the US Mint in 1921, marking the last silver dollar series in American history. Released alongside the final Morgan Silver Dollars, the Peace Dollar was produced until 1935, when minting of silver dollars concluded. All 1922 Peace Dollar Silver Coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. This series was struck by the US Mint from 1921 to 1928, with final runs in 1934 and 1935. You can buy these coins individually in protective plastic flips or in tubes of 20 if available.
Obverse
The obverse design of the 1922 Peace Dollar Coin, created by Anthony de Francisci, features Lady Liberty in left-profile relief, crowned with rays of light. The national motto and the year are inscribed next to her image. Inscriptions read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRVST, and 1922.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 1922 Peace Dollar Silver Coin, de Francisci crafted an illustration of a bald eagle resting on an olive branch. This design symbolizes the nations desire for peace after World War I, with the eagles calm demeanor and rays of light radiating from the coins edge enhancing the tranquil scene. Inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and PEACE.
History
In 1922, the United States Mint produced the highest volume of Peace Dollars in the programs history. In fact, over 84.27 million coins were struck that year, making it the most significant year for the series. The Philadelphia Mint was responsible for producing 51.737 million of those coins.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
