Its launch occurred alongside the final year of the Morgan Dollar series, with the Peace Dollar program lasting until 1935 when silver dollar production was halted permanently. Each of the 1923 Peace Dollar Silver Coins is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The series was struck from 1921 through 1928, with additional coins minted in 1934 and 1935. Individual coins come in plastic flips, while multiples may be housed in tubes of 20 if they are available.
Obverse
The obverse of the 1923 Peace Dollar features Anthony de Franciscis design of Lady Liberty in left-profile relief. Her radiant crown represents freedom and enlightenment, encircled by the national motto and the year of issue. The inscriptions read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRVST, and 1923.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 1923 Peace Dollar Silver Coin, you will find a peaceful bald eagle resting on an olive branch. This design, also by de Francisci, reflects the nations desire for peace in the aftermath of World War I. Light rays rise from the coin’s edge, enhancing the sense of calm in the design. The inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and PEACE.
History
The 1922 and 1923 issues of the Peace Silver Dollar were produced in large volumes by the United States Mint. Both years saw coins minted at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints. Philadelphia alone struck over 82 million Peace Dollar Coins during this period, with 30.8 million coins minted in 1923, while Denver contributed 6.811 million coins and San Francisco minted 19.02 million coins.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
