The Peace Silver Dollar is famous for being the last 90% silver dollar to circulate in the United States. Released in late 1921, it marked the return of silver dollar coinage to the American economy. The coins design, created by Anthony de Francisci, was chosen from a competitive artistic contest featuring prominent American artists. Now, 1925 Peace Dollar Silver Coins in certified condition are available from Provident Metals.

Each 1925 Peace Dollar Silver Coin offered here is certified in Mint State 65 condition. This grade ensures that the coin has a beautiful luster with only minor contact marks. While some coins may show a couple of slightly larger marks or faint hairlines, they maintain a fantastic overall appearance.
Obverse
The obverse of the 1925 Peace Dollar Coin features Lady Liberty in a stunning left-profile design. Her flowing hair is topped with a crown of light. Inscriptions on this side of the coin include the year of issue and the national motto. The inscriptions here read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRVST, and 1925.
Reverse
On the reverse side of 1925 Peace Dollar Silver Coins, the design depicts an American bald eagle perched on a rock, grasping an olive branch in its talons. The eagle gazes ahead, while sunlight radiates from the background, creating a powerful and serene image. The inscriptions here include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and PEACE.
History
The Peace Silver Dollar was first released in December 1921, replacing the Morgan Silver Dollar, which had briefly resumed production earlier that same year. Throughout the Peace Dollar series, early years saw higher mintages, but later years like 1925 experienced a more limited mintage. In total, 10.198 million 1925 Peace Dollars were minted in Philadelphia, and 1.61 million were struck in San Francisco.
