Since the 1970s, the stable of American paper notes available in circulation has remained steady at just seven denominations. These familiar denominations are used for everything from minor purchases to larger purchases, but none can hold a candle to the denominations first issued in the 1918 Series Federal Reserve Note. Overhauled in 1934, these notes offered denominations of $500, $1000, $5000, and $10,000. Provident Metals now has certified 1934 $1000 Federal Reserve Notes available to you for purchase online.

Highlights:

  • Arrives with an individual plastic currency sleeve!
  • Last design elements for the $1,000 Federal Reserve Note!
  • Limited number of certified notes available!
  • Issued a face value of $1,000 (USD).
  • Bears a Grade of Extremely Fine 40+.
  • The obverse side depicts President Grover Cleveland.
  • On the reverse is the notation of the denomination.
  • Please bear in mind that no two EX 40+ notes will have the exact same signs of wear.
  • Note may feature certification from the PMG or PCGS.

When you purchase one of these 1934 $1000 Federal Reserve Notes online at Provident Metals, you will receive a note that has a grade from the PMG of Extremely Fine 40, or better. Notes in this condition typically exhibit three of four fold lines, one of which may be horizontal on the field of the bill. The notes are housed in plastic currency sleeves to protect the existing condition of the note. Please keep in mind we cannot guarantee that your specific note was graded by the PMG or PCGS. All notes are chosen at random after your payment is processed.

Obverse

The obverse side of 1934 $1000 Federal Reserve Notes comes with a right-profile portrait of President Grover Cleveland. This design style includes the famous porthole portrait frame around the President. This is still used today on American notes and was popularized late in the 19th century and early in the 20th century.

Reverse

On the reverse of 1934 $1000 Federal Reserve Notes, you will find a depiction of the nation of issue and the denomination of the bill. The numeric denomination is noted in the corners of the note, while the alphabetic denomination is noted at the center along with the nation of issue.

History

President Grover Cleveland remains the only man to serve two non-consecutive terms as President of the United States of America. He won the popular vote in all three election cycles during which he ran for office, but only emerged as the victor in the Electoral College in 1884 and 1892.
