The reverse features the same intricate designs and symbolic artwork seen on regular $1 Silver Certificates. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, ONE DOLLAR and a number of words and phrases are also included.
The obverse of each certificate features a gold seal instead of the typical blue one. Gilbert Stuart’s portrait of George Washington is seen at the center, along with THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR. The number ‘1’ is printed in all four corners of the bill.

What is Fine or Better?
A note rated ‘fine’ has a few minor creases, pinholes and/or rounded corners. Original coloring is expected to be faded, but the note as a whole retains a desirable appearance.
History of the 1935A $1 Silver Certificate
During World War II, special notes were issued in certain warzones where there was an increased risk of circulation currency falling into enemy hands.
The North Africa Silver Certificate, printed only for use in that specific region, was produced in order to combat confiscation — if the bills were obtained by the opposing force, they were automatically declared worthless.
When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
