Produced by the Bank of Canada, the 1937 Two Dollar note was part of the inaugural series that introduced both English and French print to a singular dollar bill. The note is a VG example of the collection.
The reverse depicts the figure Agriculture, an allegorical woman who represents the 18th century shift of women entering the workforce. BANK OF CANADA and TWO DOLLARS are also printed.
The obverse features a portrait of King George VI, the contemporary reigning monarch of England.

What is VG?
A certificate is assigned a grade of VG (very good) when it has a nearly flawless appearance, with slight evidence of handling, and a few minor creases. The banknote maintains its original crispness and sheen.
