The Royal Canadian Mint produced half dollar coins composed of .6 troy ounce of 80 percent silver up until 1967. That year, the mint began producing circulation coins with only 50 percent silver, though they were identical to the 80 percent version from decades prior. In 1968, the mint started issuing Canadian coins with a composition of 99 percent nickel.
If you order multiples, we try to get you varying dates or designs, but it is dependent on our current inventory. It is entirely possible that you may not receive a variety when ordering multiples. Each coin will be in XF condition or better.
When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. My only hope on these is that one of these days I will get some of the BC Sil;ver Dollars or a batch with some in the 1950’s… nearly all have been 1962 to 1966 but this time I was blessed with a couple 1967 Canadad goose coins… had to grab another roll in hopes of some older ones!

I originally ordered a nice group and was very pleased with what I had gotten… so much that I have ordered two more batches as I could afford them. My wish is that they would mix them up the dates a bit more as what I had gotten were all a 3 year time period… would be awesome to get some of the British Columbia ones in a batch as my wife is from up there so it would be awesome to get some for our grandkids!

I received 10 of these in the last two weeks and was very pleased. A general selection of 1965-1966 pieces in truly AU condition (nice luster with bag marks, etc.). These coins are really a “hidden treasure” in the silver stacking game. A couple of dimes over spot as compared to US silver dollars that dent the wallet heavily due to collector premiums. I’ll take these Canadian bad boys all day long- a great sized coin with nice 80% silver content. As a suggestion for the future, I would like to see a quantity discount offered on these like many of the other “junk” silver offered.
