Issued by the Bank of Canada, the 1954 One Dollar note was designed after Queen Elizabeth II’s ascension to the English throne in 1952.
Due to minor creases, folds and spotting, the note has been given a rating of extra fine. Each note arrives in an archival sleeve to promote optimum protection. Dates may vary.
The reverse features an open plains scene. BANK OF CANADA and ONE DOLLAR are printed in both English and French.
Similar to other notes issued by the bank, the obverse features a profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. CANADA is prominently displayed in the center, in addition to other English and French words and phrases.
