History
Giant Panda cubs have a relatively slow growth and development rate compared to many other mammals. They are born hairless and blind, and it takes several weeks for their eyes to fully open. During their first few months, the cubs rely entirely on their mother’s milk for nourishment. They begin to crawl at around 3 months and start eating solid bamboo between 6 to 9 months.
