She carries branches of oak and laurel in her left hand and has the American flag over her shoulders. Inscriptions on this face include Liberty, In God We Trust, and the date mark.

Reverse

On the reverse face of the American Eagle Silver Coin, you will find a modern version of the heraldic eagle of the United States. The image captures the eagle in front-facing relief with the arrows of war in one talon and the olive branch of peace in the other. The US heraldic shield is on the birds chest with 13 stars above its head. The inscriptions on this side read United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, and 1 oz Fine Silver One Dollar.
