History
Launched in 1982, the Chinese Panda Gold Series has become a favorite among collectors and investors alike. Known for its annually changing reverse designs (with the exception of 2001 and 2002), the series took an interesting turn in 2016 when the Chinese Mint switched from Troy ounces to grams, aligning with the metric system.
