Embedded on the obverse of the 1987-Y Chinese Panda Gold Coin, one discovers a striking portrayal of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. This architectural marvel, dominating the Temple of Heaven Complex, has graced the coin’s front side since 1982, its presence symbolizing grandeur and prosperity. Inscriptions include the nation of issue and 1987.

The reverse side of the 1987-Y Panda 1 oz Gold Coin unveils a captivating illustration featuring the iconic Giant Panda. Exclusively crafted for the 1987 series, this design portrays the panda gently leaning towards a tranquil pond, delicately sipping water, and forming graceful ripples that ripple across the reflective surface. Inscriptions on this field read .999, 1 OZ AU, 100, and the Y mint mark from the Shenyang Mint.

The Shenyang Mint employs advanced minting technology and state-of-the-art facilities to ensure the production of high-quality coins. It incorporates modern techniques such as computerized engraving, precision manufacturing, and security features to create coins that meet international standards.
