Obverse

The obverse design of the 1993 Proof Eagle Gold Coins features the iconic image of Lady Liberty, originally crafted by Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907. The 1/10 oz gold coin fell from 64,874 in 1992 to 58,649 in 1993, while sales of the Proof 1 oz gold coins dropped from 44,826 to 34,369.
