Obverse
On the obverse of the 1993 Proof American Eagle 1/10 Gold coin, you will see a well-known depiction of Lady Liberty. Created in 1907 by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, this image was commissioned by President Theodore Roosevelt with hopes of revitalizing U.S. coins. Lady Liberty is shown walking toward the viewer carrying an olive branch and a torch. The capitol building stands in the background at Lady Libertys feet.
Reverse
The reverse of this listing features an image of bald eagles exclusive to Gold Eagle coins from the U.S. Mint. This image was created by coin designer Miley Busiek in 1986. A male eagle flies over the family nest carrying an olive branch in its talons. In the nest, a female protects a young hatchling that rests under her wing.
History
The Proof American Eagle Gold Coins were released in three stages. The 1 oz Proof American Eagle coin was first produced in 1986 followed by the 1/2 oz coin the next year. In 1988, the U.S. Mint released the 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz coins. Today, all four coin weights are available for purchase.

Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
