These slabs are used to house coins certified by the PCGS, with these coins boasting a Mint State 69 grade. Coins in this condition exhibit full, original mint luster and have no more than two minor detracting flaws. Examples of acceptable flaws include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines located outside the primary focal points of the coin.

Obverse

The obverse face of 1994 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins comes with the historic image of Walking Liberty. The famous design was created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman and features Liberty walking toward the sun as it crests a mountain peak on the horizon. Initially, the face of the US half dollar from 1916 to 1947, the Walking Liberty design has been in use on the American Eagle Silver Coin since 1986.

Reverse

On the reverse side of the 1994 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is a depiction of the heraldic eagle of the United States. The design shows the American bald eagle in front-facing relief with its head looking toward the olive branch of peace in its right talon, while the left talon clutches the arrows of war. The US national shield is on the birds chest with a triangular cluster of 13 stars over its head.

History

The 1994 American Eagle Silver Coin holds the second-lowest mintage figure in the history of the American Eagle Silver bullion series. With just 4.22 million coins sold in 1994, the only lower mintage came in 1996 when just 3.6 million coins were sold in the series. From 1994 to 1998, the American Eagle Silver Coin set its lowest average annual mintage figures for any stretch of time in the history of the series. The average each year was roughly 4.318 million coins sold with the highest single-year mintage during this 5-year stretch just 4.847 coins.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Can I choose the method of shipping?

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

Will I need to sign for my package?

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

What about International Orders?

Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
