The 1995 American Eagle is a perfect example. Today, you have the chance to purchase 1995 American Eagle 1 oz Silver coins in near-perfect condition online at Provident Metals.

The American Eagle Silver Coins from the United States Mint experienced low demand in the 1990s through a combination of low interest from investors and a booming American economy. However, the 1995 release of the American Eagle marked the 10th anniversary of the young silver bullion series and resulted in an uptick in demand.

Obverse

On the obverse side of 1995 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins is an image of Walking Liberty. Designed in 1986 by Adolph A. Weinman, Liberty walks toward the sun on the horizon with the American flag over her shoulders, her right hand outstretched, and her left hand carrying branches of oak and laurel.

Reverse

The reverse face of the 1995 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin includes a depiction of the heraldic eagle of the United States. This emblem has been in use on American coins since 1794 and has been modernized several times in the course of American coining history. Modified for these coins by John Mercanti, the major change to this version of the heraldic eagle is the inclusion of the 13 stars as a triangular cluster. Previous versions often depicted the 13 stars in a loose cluster above the eagles head.

History

The American Eagle Silver Coin experienced a respectable jump in demand in 1995 across the Brilliant Uncirculated and Proof releases of the coin. After setting a near-record low in 1994, the series jumped in 1995 by more than 400,000 coins due to the 10th-anniversary release. The series also saw an increase in the proof issue with an additional W Proof American Eagle Silver coin released that year.

Ordering

These 1995 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins have Mint State 69 certifications from the PCGS. Coins in this condition have full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor detracting flaws.
