The Proof American Eagle Silver Coin is incredibly popular with collectors. The 1996 release of the coin came just one year after the mint celebrated the 10th anniversary of the series and actually experienced a bump in interest as the demand for BU coins declined at the same time. Provident Metals now has certified 1996-P Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins available to you for purchase online.
Highlights:
When you purchase the 1996-P Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin online in this Provident Metals listing, you will receive a coin that is in near-perfect condition. PF69 coins showcase full, original mint luster and come with no more than two minor detractions present. These flaws must be located outside the primary focal points and are limited in nature to minuscule contact marks or hairlines.
Obverse
The obverse side of the 1996-P Proof American Eagle Silver Coin depicts Walking Liberty. This design shows Liberty in left-profile relief walking toward the sun on the horizon. She is draped in the American flag as she carries branches of oak and laurel. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 1996.
Reverse
On the reverse field of 1996-P Proof Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins, you will find an image of the heraldic eagle. The image of the heraldic eagle features a front-facing bald eagle with the US national shield, the arrows of war, and the olive branch of peace.
