On the obverse of the 1999Canadian Maple Leaf ANS Privy Gold, you will find an elegant effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The right-profile relief portrays the Queen wearing the George IV Diadem Crown, a remarkable design created by Dora de Pedery-Hunt in 1990. This portrayal captures the queen at the age of 64. Flipping the coin reveals a captivating sugar maple leaf at the center of the reverse field. Crafted by Walter Ott, this iconic symbol of Canada takes center stage on the coin.
