The skyline of New York City is one of the most famous in the United States, and in fact, around the world. Its makeup was changed forever on September 11, 2001, when two hijacked airliners were crashed into the North Tower and the South Tower, eventually leading to their collapse. The Statue of Liberty stood watch the whole time as the terror unfolded, but a new New York City skyline has emerged in the aftermath with the Freedom Tower at its heart. Right now, you can buy $2 9/11 20th Anniversary Statue of Liberty Legal Tender Notes online at Provident Metals.

To the right, the Statue of Liberty stands firm and holds her light up to the world, offering hope to those in need of a new start in a new land. Behind Jefferson, an American flag flutters in the breeze over the modern skyline of New York City where the Freedom Tower anchors a reborn World Trade Center. Celebratory additions to this note include 20th Anniversary, Never Forget, and World Trade Center.
