A replica version of John Trumbulls Declaration of Independence oil painting is located on the reverse of America’s First Couple Trump Legal Tender Notes. Trumbull was a veteran of the Revolutionary War and some of his other well-known works depict events from that conflict. The Declaration of Independence painting is dated to 1818 and took an estimated 30 years to complete.
History
Donald and Melania Trump were married on January 22, 2005, in Palm Beach, Florida. Before becoming the First Lady, Melania had a successful modeling career, appearing on billboards and in magazines and TV commercials. Prior to his presidential election, Donald Trump also had a prominent career that included running his real estate empire and hosting the TV show The Apprentice.
