The $2 bill is the perfect vehicle for creating enhanced visuals on modern Federal Reserve Notes. While Americas current form of paper money features portraits of historical figures known to all Americans, there was an era when American paper money had true works of art on it. Using the widely produced, but minimally used, $2 bill to create enhanced collector pieces is a great way to bring new life to $2 bills. When it comes to celebrating occasions such as the 4th of July, the $2 bill is the perfect note. Right now, you can buy $2 Colorized Fourth of July Legal Tender Notes online from Provident Metals.

Highlights:

  • Arrives with a protective display and a Certificate of Authenticity!
  • Honors the Fourth of July with patriotic designs!
  • Highly-detailed, colorized visuals enhance the brilliance of the Legal Tender note!
  • Bears a face value of $2 (USD) fully backed by the American government.
  • President Jefferson is accompanied on the obverse by colorized images of the Statue of Liberty and the American flag.
  • The Founding Fathers gather to sign the Declaration of Independence in the original design to grace the reverse.

With your purchase of a $2 Colorized Fourth of July Legal Tender Note at Provident Metals, you will receive a legal tender $2 Federal Reserve Note. Each one of these legal tender notes was picked from a sealed Federal Reserve pack in clean, crisp, uncirculated condition. The notes have been enhanced through special processes with both an application of color to select elements on both fields and the addition of special design features on the obverse to accompany the presidential portrait. The notes are presented in protective displays with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Obverse

President Thomas Jefferson is depicted at the center of the $2 Colorized Fourth of July Legal Tender Note. His bust, as found here, remains unchanged from a 1928 design introduced on the United States Note that year. Inclusions on this side for the commemorative Fourth of July design include the red, white, and blue colors of the American flag and the Statue of Liberty. Celebratory fireworks, a fixture of Independence Day celebrations, are found beneath the Statue of Liberty.

Reverse

Adopted on the reverse of the $2 Federal Reserve Note in 1976, John Trumbulls painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence is found on the reverse of these $2 Colorized Fourth of July Legal Tender Notes. No additions have been made to the design element, though the colorization of the design brings the room to life and provides each signatory figure with a sense of individualism through different outfits.

History

The 4th of July is the date chosen as Americas Independence Day because this was the date in 1776 that the fledgling nation-to-be declared to its citizens that the Declaration of Independence had been written and adopted by the Second Continental Congress.
