Please make a capsule the the coin actually fits in without the rattle. It can’t be that hard!

The capsule fit my Cleopatra round very nicely, but my Captain rattled around enough to annoy me. I just rubbed the capsule’s inner edge against some sandpaper to wear it down a little and put it back together. Now it fits perfectly and doesn’t rattle. They are nice capsules and make the rounds much more presentable.

Ok, I got quite a few of these for my privateer collection and interestingly the pirate rounds (1st in series) don’t rattle. They fit super tight, you really gotta squeeze them in there. The siren and captain rounds (2nd and 3rd) are the ones that move around. Before you ask, I have tested these with many rounds, same outcome. Are the pirate rounds a TAD thicker? Haven’t tried any other 2oz rounds from Elemetal but this is interesting. Word of caution, once you close these capsules well, you will need the jaws of life to get your silver out!

The capsules I was sent fit the American Landmarks 2 oz rounds like a glove….nice and snug with no noticeable rattle.
I’m even finding use for the capsule with some older high relief medals I own.

They rattle and do not fit properly over any of my 2 oz rounds. If you are a collector and enjoy looking at a rounds details from time to time the sound of the round hitting the capsule when moved or turned over will drive you nuts. Just thought I’d mention it. Happy Holidays!!!

These are great for the 2 ounce rounds but a just slightly deeper that the need to be. The diameter is fine. They are just a little too deep and the rounds rattle a little. I’ll still use them for sure.

My frustration is more about the availability than the fit.
Since they fit on various 2 ounce rounds now, why under produce them? It can’t be a surprise most people will take the (pricey) capsule to keep it in.
Al least the capsule price is for 2 ounces, not one.
I agree with Jonathon. It’s a bit too big for the coin, causing it to rattle. However, it’s still a better alternative to the vinyl pouch.

My 2 oz coins move around quite a bit in these capsules. Paying almost $2 for one that doesn’t fit is sort of frustrating. I bought one for the privateer and siren 2 oz coin. Both do the same thing.

There is a bit too much rattle for the premium price, but it fits nice and securely, and the plastic has great clarity and really allows the detail to still look sharp. It’s worth the price, but not perfect.
