Design

On the obverse and the reverse sides of the Rebel Silver Stacker, you will find the same design. These stackers have been designed in a domed shape so that multiples can stack neatly into place. The design itself is a rendition of the classic Guy Fawkes mask featuring a mustached figure with a sinister grin upon their face. In more recent years, this design has been referred to as the Anonymous mask. On the reverse side of this stacker, there are brief inscriptions reading AG .999 2 OZ.

History

Throughout history, masks have been used for everything from costume parties and plays to political protests and bank robberies. The Guy Fawkes mask was introduced in the 1980s graphic novel V for Vendetta from writer Alan Moore and illustrator David Lloyd. This iconic novel was issued between 1982 and 1989 and features a British anarchist named V who wears the now iconic Guy Fawkes mask. Since its publication, the mask has been used by numerous anti-establishment groups during protests. Notable instances include Occupy Wall Street as well as the Arab Spring protests that began in 2010.
