First in the American Landmarks series, Provident Metals is proud to release the 2 oz Grand Canyon Ultra High Relief Silver Round. Each of these beautiful rounds consists of two ounces of .999 Fine Silver, and is struck with a proof-like, ultra high relief finish by the Elemetal Mint. The obverse of the 2 oz Silver Grand Canyon round features the Grand Canyon’s Horseshoe Bend. The Colorado River, struck with a proof-like finish, winds its way between high relief sandstone cliffs. “The Grand Canyon” is inscribed on the lower right of the round.
The Grand Canyon is located in the southwestern United States on the Colorado Plateau in northern Arizona. Carved over the last 17 million years, the Grand Canyon is the largest canyon in the continental United States. The Grand Canyon is 277 miles long, 18 miles wide and over 6000 feet deep.
Native American peoples have inhabited the Grand Canyon since 1200 BC. The original inhabitants were the ancestors to the “contemporary” Puebloans. Since that time, the Grand Canyon has hosted many Native American tribes, including Hopi clans, Havasupai, Paiute, and Navajo tribes. In 1906, President Theodore Roosevelt established the Grand Canyon as a game preserve; he then redesignated it as a National Forest in 1908. The Grand Canyon was designated a National Park, and given the highest national conservation protection in 1919 by President Woodrow Wilson.
The common reverse of the American Landmarks series carries a convex rendering on the globe featuring North America. The inscriptions read “AMERICAN LANDMARKS”, and “2 oz .999 FINE SILVER”.

Smart packaging that doesn't advertise that it's a valuable package, and signature required at delivery for added security. I ordered several different 2 oz rounds, including the pirate and ship from Elemental. The pirate and ship are interesting, but this one is strikingly beautiful and vibrant. If you're collecting 2 oz rounds, this is definitely one to have in your collection."

I loved the Privateers so I bought one of these even though the pic looked average to me. When I received them my eyes popped out…just stunning…the detail, the mirror finish in spots and you have what feels like a rock…Just amazing! When I put them next to my Privateers I came to the conclusion I like this one more. Also they just released the mintage number of 18,152. Much lower than the Privateers. So I had to add more! Provident has the lowest price on these and the best delivery. Thank you very much Provident!

This is an extraordinary silver round. It is proof-like numismatic quality. I am glad I picked some up before the end of production. The relief is high and the proof-like polished surfaces cause the high relief areas to really jump out. This is my favorite round of all.

I bought a tube of 10 they do not fit in the tube the top was half off the last two rounds was stuck together and dented The rim on this round is not even all the way around I did send them back and got new ones Provident was very help full with this The new ones are a little better but the rim it is bigger on one side And is this Glen Canyon or the Grand Canyon?

Yet again Elemental Mint has done it. This is an amazing round. The convex obverse gives a great 3 dimensional look to the round and the reverse has the Grand Canyon with the rocks popping out of the round. This is a great coin for anyone’s collection.
I would really like to see Georgia’s Stone Mountain in the Landmark series. I would also like to see a list of Landmarks they intend to make rounds for.

This is a really beautiful high-relief round! At first I thought it was from Big Bend N.P. in Texas, but it is from the Grand Canyon in Arizona (“Horseshoe Bend”). The coin is gorgeous and hefty at 2 oz-t.
