History
The reverse of the coin highlights the distinct look of the Giant Pandas fur. The familiar black and white coat, with black patches around the eyes, ears, shoulders, and legs, stands out against the lighter body. Scientists have long studied this unique coloration, sometimes referred to as “reverse countershading,” for its curious role in panda survival.
