The United States Mint introduced the American Eagle Silver Coins in 1986. The primary version of the coin is the BU American Eagle, a coin issued annually since 1986 with no interruptions to production in the time since. Obverse

For the obverse design of the 2005 American Eagle Silver Coins, the US Mint features the 1916 design from Adolph A. Weinman. This image features Libertys full-length figure in left-profile relief walking across the field with an American flag draped around her figure. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2005.

Reverse

In the reverse field of the 2005 Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin, you will find an image of the heraldic eagle. Designed for these coins in 1986, the image shows a bald eagle in front-facing relief with an olive branch in one talon, arrows in the other, and the US national shield on its chest. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER ONE DOLLAR.

History

The 2005 issue of American Eagle Silver Coins finished with a mintage of 8,891,025 coins. This was an increase over the 2003 and 2004 coins, respectively, but below the running average of around 9 million coins per year from 2000 to 2007.

Can I choose the method of shipping?

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

Will I need to sign for my package?

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

What about International Orders?

Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
