The Royal Canadian Mint has a rich history and has produced many special bullion products throughout the years. Products from this Mint are known for their high-quality metal content and intense detailing.

Obverse

The portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is shown on the obverse of the 2008 Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Gold Coin. The value and release year of the coin are also included on the obverse below the Queens effigy.

Reverse

The Canadian maple leaf is shown on the reverse of the 2008 Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Gold Coin. This design is incredibly detailed, with the viewer able to recognize the leafs veins and other various patterns. This side of the coin also shows its weight, purity, and country of origin.
