Discover the allure of the 2010 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin at Provident Metals, where history and precious metals converge. This coin, celebrated for its popularity in the early 2000s, is now available for purchase, offering you a unique piece of the past.
Highlights:
In 2010, the American Eagle set new records for bullion and overall mintage, marking a historic third consecutive year. This remarkable achievement was part of a trend that began in 2008, driven by increased silver prices and demand during the Great Recession. The 2010 American Silver Eagle shattered sales records with a staggering 34.7 million coins sold in a single year, surpassing previous years by significant margins.
Obverse
The obverse of these 2010 Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins displays the timeless image of Walking Liberty by Adolph A. Weinman, originally featured on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2010.
Reverse
On the reverse of 2010 American Eagle Silver Coins, you’ll find the refined heraldic eagle of the United States, modernized by former-US Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and ONE DOLLAR.
History
The year 2010 held special significance for the coin series and the US Mint. It marked the return of the Proof American Silver Eagle after a brief hiatus in 2009, and it was also the retirement year for US Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti, who had served in the position since 1986.
Ordering
Your 2010 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is available with either a plastic flip or a tube of 20 coins, when available, for multiples.

"
These ASE's are indeed beautiful. Whether the premium is worth it, is another story. Regardless, ASE's are top notch, and drive high demand.
It's one of a few things the US Government actually produces that is valuable." |
