There are a lot of silver coin collections in the precious metals industry. However, the Perth Mint has distinguished itself from other local and foreign mints with its quality, effort, and timeless designs that have collectors and investors intrigued right from its very first release as an establishment. The Koala Silver coin is a gorgeous silver collection that was first released in 2007 by the mint. It has gone on to become one of the longest-running silver coins. Today, Provident Metals offers you the 2010 Australian Koala 1 oz Silver Coin!
Australia is a unique country that is widely known for its strange nomenclature of animals and creepy critters. The Koala is one of the most iconic animals to be found in the large nation filled with beaches and friendly folks. They are often referred to as bears, but they are actually grouped in the same category as kangaroos. They are also unusually slow, constantly sleepy, and completely harmless to the human race. Because of this, they are a source of attraction for tourists who come to the country to explore the flora and fauna of Australia.
For the obverse field of the 2010 Australian Koala 1 oz Silver Coin, an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II is featured. This image was crafted by the brilliant mind of Ian Rank Broadley, a famed sculptor who portrayed her in a right-profile view. She is depicted as a more mature leader of England. This image is referred to as the Fourth Portrait. The inscriptions include, ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, AND 1 DOLLAR.
For the reverse of the 2010 Australian Koala 1 oz Silver Coin, a gorgeous Koala design is engraved. Each year is engraved with a different image of the animal, but for this one, a koala hangs on a branch while it eats delicious gum leaves off the tree. The inscriptions on this side of the coin include 1 oz 999 silver.
