The Australian Silver Koala series of coins is an ongoing issue of beautiful .999 fine silver bullion coins from Australia’s famous Perth Mint that celebrates one of the country’s great national symbols: the Koala. Native only to Australia, these large marsupials have achieved an iconic presence in the world’s imagination and serve proudly as ambassadors of their homeland. Since their introduction in 2007, Silver Koalas have been prized by collectors who eagerly await the unveiling of a new design each year. We currently offer these stunning coins in the one dollar denomination, which contains one troy ounce of pure silver and measures 40.60mm in diameter, and the thirty dollar denomination, which contains one troy kilogram of pure silver and measures 101.00mm in diameter. As mentioned above, the Australian Silver Koala is issued annually with a new design on its reverse. The obverse has continually depicted Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, but the reverse receives a new portrait of a Koala in varying poses and settings each year. This yearly design renewal has made the Australian Silver Koala one the world’s most collectible bullion coins.
When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.

I bought this 2011 Koala at a coin shop. It is amazing and I recommend purchasing them while they are cheap. I bought 2012 Koalas from Provident because it is the cheapest place that has them, as well as one of the few. I hope they restock more 2011s and I look forward to purchasing more.

Attention to detail is extremely evident upon looking over the coin and frosting on the front and back is fantastic. Also it came in a plastic capsule to keep it from tarnishing so that is a major plus. Love Provident Metals, and I will be buying more soon."
