This coin consists of 1 troy oz. of .9999 fine silver bullion and is $5 legal tender in Canada. The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II as designed by Canadian artist Susanna Blunt along with the words “ELIZABETH II,” the coin’s value and 2011.
A highly-detailed and statuesque wolf gazing ahead highlights the reverse, which was designed by senior engraver, William Woodruff. The wolf stands under a full moon with pines in the distance, along with the inscriptions of the words “CANADA,” “9999” and “FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR.”

Royal Canadian Mint – “Canadian Wildlife Series”
Producing all of Canada’s circulation coins, the Royal Canadian Mint manufactures gold, platinum and silver bullion coins, among many other coins, medallions and tokens. The 2011 Canadian Silver Wolf is the release in a six-coin series dated from 2011-2013. Along with the Canadian silver Wolf, the Grizzly, Cougar, Moose, Pronghorn Antelope and Wood Bison are also featured.
Each coin has a mintage of one million, are produced at the Royal Canadian Mint’s Ottawa facility and struck from the same pure silver as the Silver Maple Leaf.
When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.

This is a vary good coin for investment purposes. The canadian silver timber wolf is 9999 pure silver, and has a VARY….VARY nice proof finish on it. My only regret is that I got this coin from Amazon……….DO NOT BUY SILVER COINS FROM AMAZON You will get a better deal from Providentmetals.

Not only is this coin 1 oz. of .9999 fine silver (that’s right, 4 “9s”) but it also appeals to collectors, as it is part of the Royal Canadian Mint’s Wildlife series. I’ve already added several of this coin to my collection and plan to add all other RCM Wildlife Series coins as they become available. My only complaint is that the Royal Canadian Mint does not package coins in individuals containers like the Perth Mint does. Air Tites are cheap though and Provident Metals ships bulk orders in mint tubes. As always, Provident Metal’s customer service and attention to detail exceeds all expectations.
