This 2012 edition features a design that was used only for this year, making it a distinctive addition to the series. From 1982 through 2015, the 1/10 oz coin was part of the program, later replaced in 2016 by the 3 Gram Gold Panda Coin.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2012 Chinese Panda Gold Coin highlights the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, a centerpiece of the Temple of Heaven Complex in Beijing. Built in the early 1400s, this stunning structure is a Taoist religious landmark with deep historical and cultural significance.
Reverse

History
Giant pandas are known for a peculiar habit called “handstanding” when marking their territory. By walking backward up a tree and lifting their hind legs, they can leave scent marks higher up. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
