History
The 2012 Australian Koala High Relief Gold Coin in 1 oz gold was set for a maximum mintage of 2,000 gold coins. However, the Perth Mint announced a final mintage of just 659 gold coins. A high-relief strike, these gold coins have deeper visual fields and higher relief on the design strike.
