Backed and guaranteed by the government of the United States, Provident Metals now carries the 2013 1/10 Ounce American Gold Eagle, first introduced in 1986. Boasting 1/10 Oz of .9167 Fine Gold–eligible for contribution into your IRA–American Gold Eagles remain one of the most popular, widely traded gold bullion coins on earth.
The obverse of each 1/10 Oz Gold Eagle celebrates Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ 1907 Double Eagle design, featuring Lady Liberty emerging from the rising sun, the Capitol building behind her. With a face value of $5, the reverse of each 2013 American Gold Eagle bears Miley Tucker-Frost’s symbolic family-of-eagles design–a male eagle hovering above his family in their nest.
