Provident Metals is excited to carry the 2013 Ounce American Gold Eagle, the first and only gold bullion product allowed to fund Individual Retirement Accounts before 1997. Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and trusted gold coins on earth, each Oz Gold Eagle contains one half Troy Ounce of .9167 fine gold and arrives in brilliant uncirculated condition.
The obverse of each 2013 Gold Eagle pays homage to acclaimed sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ $20 Double Eagle–Lady Liberty walking out of the rising sun, proudly carrying a torch and an olive branch, the Capitol building behind her.
The reverse of the Oz American Eagle features artist Miley Tucker-Frost’s highly symbolic bald eagle design–a male eagle hovering above his mate and her hatchlings in their nest, an olive branch grasped in his talons.
One of the most widely traded gold bullion coins the world over, American Gold Eagles are the only gold coins on earth to be backed and guaranteed by the government of the United States. Initiated by the Gold Bullion Act of 1985, 2013 Ounce American Gold Eagles are now available through Provident Metals.
