The reverse of each silver coin features the image of a wolf from the side, as if you’ve stumbled upon it while alone in the woods. The wolf has turned its head to stare the interloper down, his eyes piercing as he stands on a rocky outcropping among a mossy plateau. Behind the wolf, evergreens touch the sky. A stylized wolf print sits to the left-hand side, and 2013 is inscribed on the right. The words CANADA and 10 DOLLARS are around the rim.
The obverse features Susanna Blunt’s portrait of the Queen, including the words ELIZABETH II and D G REGINA.
