Obverse
A depiction of Walking Liberty features on the obverse of the 2013-W Enhanced Finish American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins. This design was created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman and originally featured on the US half dollar from 1916 to 1947. The Walking Liberty design features her figure in left-profile relief as she walks from right to left across the design field with her right hand reaching out for the sun cresting the mountaintop as her left hand carries branches of oak and laurel.
Reverse
The heraldic eagle of the United States is included on the reverse face of 2013-W Enhanced Finish American Eagle Silver Coins. The image was modified by John Mercanti for the American Eagle Silver Coin series. It depicts the American bald eagle with the olive branch of peace, arrows of war, and the US national shield.
