Buy this beautiful coin and stamp set commemorating 75 years of Superman.
Coin features a lenticular design that changes as you tilt it, so it shows BOTH a view of the 1939 Superman and a recent depiction of the Man of Steel.

This coin comes with a custom folder with a comic book description and pop-up features and is packaged with a large-sized Canadian Superman stamp featuring the same original Superman design.

The Superman Then and Now set is a must-have for every comic book fan!

Though the Man of Steel has changed over the years, he has remained dedicated and true, saving the world in its darkest hours. Brought to you by the Royal Canadian Mint and DC Comics, Superman: Then and Now pays tribute to Clark Kent’s 75-year role as a meek journalist for the Daily Planet, and as Superman, the hero of mankind.

The incredible laser-created lenticular coin features two images: a modern iteration of the superhero soaring over Metropolis, juxtaposed with an original 1938-era design, highlighting Superman’s guardianship over his beloved city. The rim includes the words CANADA, 50 CENTS 2013, as well as 75 YEARS OF SUPERMAN in both French and English. The phrase is also written in Clark Kent/Kal-El’s native Kryptonian.

As legal tender in Canada, the obverse of each coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth, along with the words ELIZABETH II and D G REGINA.

The coin is comprised of cupronickel and measures 35 mm in diameter. It will arrive in a custom folder, along with a Canadian Superman stamp featuring the same 1938 design. The folder includes a comic book description and pop-up features.

Superman was created in 1938 by Toronto-born artist Joe Shuster and American writer Jerry Siegel. Through the years, he has saved the world from aliens, monsters, Kryptonian generals and power-hungry humans, and the iconic superhero has been represented in comics, movies, music and merchandise all over the world.

Bring the Man of Tomorrow down to earth with a special edition Superman: Then and Now coin. Order yours from Provident Metals today.
