The reverse of the 2014 Koala features the close-up of a koala peeking out from a branch of gum leaves — the animal’s primary source of food. It is inscribed with the words AUSTRALIAN KOALA and 2014 1 KILO 999 SILVER on the rim.
Queen Elizabeth’s regal portrait graces the obverse, along with the words ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA and the denomination 30 DOLLARS around the rim.
