The obverse features Susanna Blunt’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth, and it is inscribed with ELIZABETH II and D G REGINA.
Grizzly bears can weigh up to 1,200 pounds — particularly in Canada where they have an ample supply of salmon to eat. The bear’s average weight is 300 to 800 pounds. Grizzlies are sometimes confused with black bears, because their fur can range in color, from light blond to dark black. Most often, their coloring is brown with white tips, giving them a beautiful silvery appearance.

The pictures do not do this coin justice. The presentation box and detail were very nice, but the details of the grizzly and the background pop out at you and give you a feeling that you are there at the stream. The engravers have definitely out done themselves again.
