History

Australian Wedge Tail Eagles debuted in 2014 with the eagle designs coming from John Mercanti, the 12^th Chief Engraver of the United States Mint who retired in 2010 from the US Mint. Mercanti has designed all of the images in the series to date, with a total of five different designs used so far through 2020.
