The Royal Canadian Mint has unveiled the last coin in the Seven Sacred Teachings series, which honors the traditions of the First Nations of Canada.
Composed of 1 troy oz of .9999 pure silver with gold plating, the 2014 Silver $20 Truth coin has a highly limited mintage of 7,000, so get yours while supplies last.
Designed by Mtis artist Nathalie Bertin in the Woodland style art of the Algonquin people, the reverse of each coin features a gold plated turtle — which symbolizes the truths of nature — with images from the lunar calendar engraved on its shell. It is inscribed with CANADA and 20 DOLLARS.
The obverse includes a gold plated portrait of Her Majesty the Queen, along with the inscriptions ELIZABETH II, 2014, 9999 and FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR.
