Obverse
On the obverse of 2015 Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins, witness the graceful depiction of Lady Liberty, designed by the renowned Augustus Saint-Gaudens. With an olive branch in one hand and a guiding torch in the other, she embodies the spirit of America. Saint-Gaudens also contributed to the design of the original $20 US Gold Double Eagle coins.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2015 American Eagle Gold Coin showcases a heartwarming image of a family of eagles in their nest, symbolizing the safety and security of America. The words “United States of America” hover above, while the coin’s value, weight, and metal content are stamped below. Embracing patriotic sentiments, the terms “E Pluribus Unum” (Out of Many, One) and “In God We Trust” are inscribed on either side of the eagles.
History
The 2015 release of American Eagle Gold Coins was met with renewed interest from investors. Demand had just recently peaked in 2009 during the Great REcession and had slowly ticked downward through 2014, before rising by more than 200,000 coins year-over-year from 2014 to 2015.
Ordering
These 2015 American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins arrive individually in plastic flips. Multiples of 20 are in tubes, while multiples of 500 are in boxes. Multiples of 19 or fewer are in either flips or tubes, at our discretion.

Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

Have owned gold in several forms, 1 oz bars, 1/2 oz coins, Maples, BUT something about the AGE's just POPS when you hold them. IMO they are worth the extra premium. Top marks to Provident. They ship fast and the coins are always in perfect condition."

The AGE is a beautiful coin, and if it happerns to have a hefty 1.09 troy Oz of weight to it, it feels that much better in my hand. The dainty Canadian Gold Maple has this contrast, since it is manufactured with 9999 pure gold and weights exactly 1 OzT. And the color on the Canadian cone is more pure. But, again, I do like to heft and durability of the 22K American Eagle. Recommended."

Although I tend to prefer 24k coins, the durability of the American 22k Gold Eagle and the South African Krugerrand can’t be denied. Still, I recommend buying the current year, which at the moment is the 2015. The condition is perfect, and this is truly a gorgeous coin, even though it’s 22k. The color of a 2015 Eagle is much more golden than my 1978 22k Krugerrand, which is much more reddish in appearance. Toss in the advantage that it’s produced by the U.S. mint, and this is a coin everybody should add to their collection – and add a new one each year.
