The Austrian Philharmonic Series from the Austrian Mint is one of Europes best-selling bullion coin programs. The series first launched in 1989 with gold bullion coins and has since expanded to feature both silver and platinum options in the 21st century. The most recent addition to the gold series was the 1/25 oz coin that was released for the first time in 2014. Provident Metals currently has 2015 Austrian Philharmonic 1/25 oz Gold Coins available to you for purchase online.

History
The Austrian Philharmonic Gold Coins debuted in 1989 with 1 oz and 1/4 oz gold coins available. The series expanded first in 1991 with a 1/10 oz gold coin and again in 1994 with a 1/2 oz gold coin. These 1/25 oz gold coins were added in 2014 to mark the 25th anniversary of the series. The coins proved so popular that the Austrian Mint made the diminutive weight an annual release. The 2015 release has the highest reported mintage to date for the 1/25 oz gold coin. At 88,157 coins sold, the 2015 date mark surpassed the 2014 debut by 10,000 coins and is more than double each of the release dates from 2017 to 2019.
