The 2015 1 oz Silver Red-Tailed Hawk is the third release in the Royal Canadian Mint’s Birds of Prey series. Each coin contains 1 ounce of .9999 fine silver and carries a $5 denomination. The silver Red-Tailed Hawk is the penultimate release in the Royal Canadian Mint’s four coin Birds of Prey series. Like the other silver coins in this series, the Red-Tailed Hawk is intricately sculpted to capture the beauty of this bird in flight. And like the previous coins in this series, world wide mintage is limited to 1,000,000.
The reverse of this silver coin features a red-tailed hawk diving toward its prey. The design – sculpted by Emily Damstra — is surrounded by the inscriptions “CANADA, 9999” and “FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR”. The obverse of the coin carries Susanna Blunt’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. “ELIZABETH II, 5 DOLLARS” and “2015” are inscribed around the profile of Queen Elizabeth.

To insure that each of these coins will arrive in brilliant uncirculated condition individual 2015 silver Red-Tailed Hawk coins will ship in plastic envelopes, orders of 25 will ship in original RCM tubes, and orders of 500 will ship in strapped RCM monster boxes. Provident Metals does not open rolls, nor do we select superior coins to keep or allocate. All coins arrive as issued from the mint. Individual coins are carefully placed in plastic sleeves for safekeeping.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

Thank God we fought a revolution and don't have to display her on American coinage. Even with the queen on the reverse these coins are a wonderful addition to any collection."
